How we regulateThe Architects Act 1997 provides the Architects Registration Board (ARB) with its mandate. The role of the Chair and Board members is to set the strategic direction of the organisation and oversee the organisation’s performance. The Registrar and Chief Executive is responsible for delivering the specified responsibilities of the Act.

In this section we cover our statutory purpose and how we regulate. We also highlight the key areas which our work has focused on during 2013.
